There was a time in 2021 when only 3-4 students were left in the Jalindernagar ZP school. Because of this, it was being planned to close it. At that time the school situation was so bad that it seemed impossible to save it. But in 2022, the National Award winning teacher Dattatreya Vare came to this school and his magic led to a change in the situation here. Earlier, Vare won the National Teacher Award for his great work at Vabababadi ZP School in Shirur Tehsil.

Dattatray Ware: How did Dattatreya Vare save school?

Dattatreya Vare started several innovative teaching methods in the school. The most praise among them is the subject friend system. In this model, students of different ages teach and learn each other, which helps in creating an inclusive and dynamic atmosphere in class. Vare told the media that his goal was never to win the award. He wanted to prove that government schools can also provide world -class education. This is possible only when the community works together.

The success of the school is credited not only to the teachers, but also to the local community. The community there worked unitedly to save the school. Due to this, the condition of the District Council School improved, T4 Education praised Pune’s government school and said that the perception has changed through transformative teaching methodology that there is no future for government schools.
