Xiaomi Yu7 SUV Electric Launch Price CNY 253K (RS 30.25 l)

The famous electronics giant from China, Xiaomi, made giant steps in the electric mobility segment. The company has stunned the world with Su7 Electric Beran and now Xiaomi has just announced the prices for its new Yu7 SUV. Currently, Yu7 is launched only in China and the market is going crazy for this vehicle. We understand why.

Electric SUV launch Xiaomi Yu7

Underrcuting its main rival Tesla Model Y by CNY 10,000 (RS 1.2 Lakh), Xiaomi Yu7 Electric SUV was launched in China. The starting price is CNY 253,500 (RS 30.25 Lakh) for the basic standard variant, CNY 279.900 (RS 33.4 Lakh) for Pro and CNY 329.900 variant (RS 39.37 Lakh) for the maximum variant.

Reservations started in China with a nominal amount of CNY 20,000 (RS 2.4 Lakh). Speaking of reservations, Xiaomi Yu7 has collected 2 Lakh reservations in just 3 minutes and almost 3 Lakh reservations in the first hour. By contrast, the Xiaomi Su7 electric sedan received 50,000 reservations in the first 27 minutes and 90,000 reservations in the first 24 hours.

As for the design, Xiaomi Yu7 has an advanced design language that we saw for the first time on SU7. It looks clean and aesthetically pleasant with smooth panels and surface finishes. Remarkable elements include elegant headlights, sports bumpers, large rear shells, connected LED tail lights, wire doors handles, elegant alloy wheels and more.

These dimensions suggest spacious interiors. By the way, Xiaomi offers four internal color options: turquoise gray, coral orange, twilight blue and purple Iris. The most remarkable internal element is the IPERSCREEN at the corner of a corner of 1.1 m that incorporates three mini LED screens including the driver tools.

There is a large infotainment screen and a 6.68 -inch rear screen for rear passengers. All three versions of Xiaomi Yu7 are powered by packs of 800 V architecture batteries, ranging from 96.3 kWh in standard and pro versions and a larger 101.7 kWh battery in maximum version.

Despite the smallest battery, standard has the highest range at 835 km as it is only RWD (315 HP). Pro gets a 489 HP double engine AWD configuration with a 770 km interval and Max gets a 681 HP double engine configuration with a 760 km interval. The high-level Max version is classified to perform the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.23 seconds. Starting now, Xiaomi has not revealed launch plans in India for both SU7 and Yu7.
