This was once a real deal, but in recent years, WHOOP hasn’t done much. In 2023, the Company published its personalized Openai propulsion fitness service, coach whoop. As with most of the other fitness services authorized by artificial intelligence, you had to really think about how to frame your questions to get useful advice. I didn’t find it particularly useful.
This year, the company has finally released an updated Whoop that is provided with a series of new features that make it a much more versatile tracker for people who do not publish their earnings every day. In particular, it has an owner algorithm for monitoring blood pressure. I have tested the new Whoop Mg for a few weeks and reminded me of because people like this tracker so much.

If you are not familiar with a tracker whoop, it is a small wearable with photopletismography sensors (PPG) to measure heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV); accelerometers to measure movement, tension and activity; and leather temperature sensors to capture variations during sleep or recovery. The new whoops are smaller and presumably more efficient from the last point of view, even if I do not approach anywhere to the most claimed 14 days of battery life. In 21 days, I had to load it twice.
It has no GPS on board. It is not super-yearing, since, you know, it doesn’t even have a screen, so I’m not using exactly the Whoop to mark my rhythm on a race. But you Do You have to use the GPS on the phone to unlock certain features within the Whoop app, like a more accurate vo2 Max. (Just activate the “trace of trace” in the app when you start recording a race.) You can also insert the Whoop in Body Whoop clothing.
Whoop sent the new MG training bra ($ 59) AND Training shorts ($ 54)That caught my data while I was running and collapsing, but if you are a return customer customer, you need new dresses for the Whoop body because the MG is smaller than the last iteration, the Whoop 4.0.
It is also important to note that Whoop has changed its belonging structure. Pay a subscription fee of $ 30 per month for everything that Whoop had to offer, but now the features are paid behind a subscription plan on several levels. WHOOP ONE ($ 199/year) gives you the normal Whoop 5.0, which is the update from Whoop 4.0, Coach Whoop and Sleep, Sforing and Recovery Tracking. Whoop Peak ($ 239/year) gives you the Whoop 5.0 with the new Healthspan and the rhythm of the aging characteristics and the life whoop ($ 359/year) gives you the new Whoop MG, which unlocks new heart characteristics such as ECG, cardiac screening, blood pressure monitoring and AFIB detection.
