Earlier in January 2025, Whatsapp banned more than 99 lakh Indian accounts. It is clear that the cases of spam, forgery and violations of rules have increased in India. With more than 500 million userbase in India, WhatsApp claims to prioritize its platform safety and privacy.
The company says that for this the company has invested Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Technology, Data Scientists and Experts.
Whatsapp advises users to take some precautions to avoid being banned inadvertently. Take their permission before adding someone to the group and do not add without consent. Do not use spam messaging, auto-reversal tools or third-party WhatsApp version, as this account can cause ban. Forward only messages from reliable sources and do not use the broadcast list excessively. The most important, avoid fake news, harassment or involvement in any illegal activity, otherwise Whatsapp can permanently ban your account.
