WBSSC Teacher Recruitment 2025 Notification: Notification issued for government teacher recruitment.
WBSSC Teacher Recruitment 2025: If you are looking for a teacher’s job (Sarkari Naukri) in a government school, then there is a great chance for you. For this, the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has taken out recruitment for Assistant Teacher in Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. Along with this, notifications have also been released. This recruitment is being done for class 9-10 (secondary) and class 11-12 (Higher Secondary). Any candidates who are thinking of applying to these posts can apply by visiting the official website WestbengalsSc.com.
Candidates who want to work as a teacher in government schools, then they can apply from 16 June 2025 to 14 July 2025 (from 11:59 pm). Apart from this, before applying, the candidates must read the things given below carefully.
Eligibility for getting a job in government school
Teachers of class 9-10: Graduate/postgraduate degree (with 50% marks) from recognized university and B.Ed from NCTE recognized institute. Or four -year BAEd./B.Sc. Should have degrees.
Teachers of class 11-12: Postgraduate degrees (at least 50%) from a recognized university and B.Ed. Or the counterpart should be a four -year teaching degree.
Age limit of becoming a teacher in West Bengal (till 01 January 2025)
Maximum age to apply: 40 years
Rebate for reserved classes:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PWD: 8 years
Application fee for filling the form of government teacher
Application fee for general category candidates: Rs 500
Application fee for SC/ST/Divyang candidates: Rs 200
Such will be selected on the posts of teacher in West Bengal
Candidates will be selected in three stages.
