The company has stated that the X Fold 5 will be launched in China on 25 June. Vivo claims that it will be lightweight and stronger compared to X Fold 3. Pre-orders have started through the company’s website in China for this smartphone. In the landing page of X Fold 5, it is seen with flat cover display and slim bezels. It has a hole-pant slot in the center on the front. The center has a large, circular camera module on its back panel. It features three cameras, one LED flash unit and Zeiss branding on the top. This smartphone will be made available in white, green and titanium colors.
Recently, the company’s product manager, HAN Boxiao claimed that X Fold 5 would be the first Android smartphone to connect to Apple’s iCloud. With this, users will be able to access the files directly from the file manager app of this smartphone in iCloud. It will also be able to act as an extended screen for Macbook users of Apple. Boxiao has also shared samples of the Periscope telephoto camera of X Fold 5. This smartphone may have a 50 -megapixel triple camera unit on the back. In this, 32 megapixel cameras can be found on the inner and outer display.
