Up education news: The Uttar Pradesh government is providing ‘easy worksheet’ developed in a special way with the aim of promoting confidence and self -respect among 2.96 lakh disabled children of the state.

The state’s Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said in a statement on Wednesday, “The government’s priority is to ensure that no child is left behind. Whether his social, economic or physical conditions are anything. The government is ensuring the same educational opportunity for disabled children with ‘easy worksheet’.”

Seats prepared for all disabled children

He said that this is not only a new initiative in education, but it is also a strong step towards building an inclusive and sympathetic society. Singh said that 1,300 worksheets have been developed from class one to five and 600 worksheets for classes six to eight for students from classes one to eight.

He said that in the worksheet prepared for the disabled children of all categories except for full visually impaired children, simple language, vibrant view and attractive format have been used for the purpose of making learning accessible and fun. The print of the worksheet has been completed and their distribution has been ensured in all the districts.

One will get the other after completing one set

The Basic Education Minister informed that worksheets are now being distributed at the development block and school level, they will be distributed in a phased manner according to one set at a time. He said that the next set will be given only after the students complete a set and the teachers evaluate it.

District coordination will review

He informed that a brief discussion or activity with students will be held compulsorily to introduce reference before each set. After the evaluation, students will be allowed to take the workheet home for further practice. The minister informed that special teachers will visit schools to ensure the availability of worksheet and help the students solve the difficulties faced. Their monthly report will be reviewed by the district coordinators.
