All other metro lines will run at the same time as their first time. This initiative of DMRC will give a lot of relief to the students and they will be able to reach their destination without delay. This change is only for 25 May.
25 What will be the change in metro services on May,
On 25 May, three lines of Delhi Metro’s largest metro network – Line 7 (Pink Line), Line 8 (Magenta Line) and Line 9 (Gray Line) will start operating trains early in the morning.
Line 7 (Pink Line): Majalis Park to Shiv Vihar
Line 8 (Magenta Line): Krishna Park Extension to Botanical Garden
Line 9 (Gray Line): Dwarka to Dhisa bus stand
New beginning compared to normal time
In general, metro train services of these three lines start at 7 am on Sunday. But on May 25, 2025, these trains will start one hour ago i.e. from 6 am. All other lines will be operated according to normal time.

DMRC reported, “Metro services from Terminal Stations of Line 7, Line 8, and Line 9 which start at 7 am on Sunday, will start on May 25 at 6 am in view of UPSC Prelims Examination at 7 am on Sunday.”

This service will also start from 6 am. But the operation of trains between Krishna Park Extension to Janakpuri West will start from 5:50 am.
Line 9 (9 (Gray line)
Dwarka from Dhisa bus stand

In both these directions, trains will run from 6 am.
Passenger caution and preparation
This time change will be helpful for the candidates participating in the UPSC exam so that they can catch the metro quickly and reach the examination center without delay. The rest of the passengers should also be aware of this change and plan their journey accordingly. If you are preparing for UPSC Prelims 2025, then keep in mind this change, make sure to plan your journey so that you do not have any inconvenience on the day of exam.
