UPSC CAPF Story: If there is a urge to get something inside a person, then success can be achieved under any circumstances. A similar story is about Abhay Khanduri of Uttarakhand, who has set an example by achieving two big achievements within four days. Recently, he has passed out as Sub Inspector after completing the training of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and exactly four days later he was selected as Assistant Commandant in the UPSC CAPF exam.
Training in SSB, as well as UPSC preparations
Abhay, who has become a sub -inspector to Assistant Commandant, originally belongs to Karnprayag town in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Abhay was currently taking training of Sub Inspector in CTC SSB Garhwal. Meanwhile, he also continued preparing for the examination of UPSC CAPF (Central Armed Police Force). The result of the examination given in August 2024 came only a few days ago, in which he was selected as Assistant Commandant.
Local education, high thinking
Abhay was born and early education in Karnprayag. After completing his studies till 12th, he received a graduation degree from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBU), Srinagar Garhwal. Along with studies, his inclination was towards the army and security forces from the beginning, due to which he first joined SSB and then continued the preparation for CAPF.
Dual success, confidence increased
Abhay says that when he started training in SSB, he had continued the preparation of UPSC since then. Now that he has completed SI training, the training of Assistant Commandant will prove even more useful for him. This achievement of Abhay Khanduri is proud not only Karnprayag but the whole of Uttarakhand. His struggle, discipline and dedication proved that if there is a spirit, then the mountains can be achieved even higher.
