New Delhi (UGC Guidelines on two degrees validity). The UGC i.e. University Grants Commission has issued revised guidelines related to degrees. This is a relief news for the candidates taking two degrees simultaneously. Earlier, 2 degrees taken simultaneously did not get recognition. But two degrees taken simultaneously before the UGC’s new order will also be valid. Many students do two degree courses simultaneously. The hard work of these students will no longer be ruined.

Students who have taken 2 degrees from any university in the country at one time, now their validity will remain. The UGC has changed the guideline released in April 2022. Earlier there was a provision to stop the claims of two academic programs simultaneously. But now it has been removed. This decision of the UGC will provide great relief to millions of students who have won two degrees together. UGC amended Guidelines notification In the format of the website ugc.gov.in.

New rules of UGC

The UGC issued a dual degree guideline on 13 April 2022. In this, the condition was fixed for those who scored two degrees simultaneously. It was written that before the date of issuing the notification, no student will be able to claim for these benefits. This means that the students who had taken two degrees together before 13 April 2022 were out of its scope. Any student can take admission in 2 full time courses in physical mode simultaneously, but the time of classes should be different.

Now everyone will get benefit

In this situation, students could do one program in physical mode and another in ODL or online mode or both in ODL or online mode. But now this rule has been changed. The UGC has removed the obligation of preventing students before 2022 in revised notification. According to the new rules, both degrees taken together will be considered valid, following the fixed standard before the guideline is issued.
