Tvs Motor reported strong internal sales services for May 2025, with total sales that reached 3,09,287 units, which reflect a year on year of 14.07% compared to 2.71,140 units sold in May 2024
TVS Sales Breakup May 2025 – Comparison on an annual basis
At the top of the rankings, Tvs Jupiter recorded 97,606 units, which grows by 28.70% compared to 75,838 May units last year. The Apache range was followed with 49,099 units, growing by 29.53%. However, XL Moped recorded a 7.75%drop, recording 37,264 units. Likewise, TV raiders recorded 35,401 units, slightly down 4.96% compared to last year.
A salient moment was the strong performance of TVS Iquube Electric Scooter, which grew by 60.43%, selling 27,642 units, compared to 17,230 units. On the other hand, Ntorq Scooter faced a 13.84% drop with 25,205 units sold. TVS Sport and commuters have seen marginal drops, with 11,822 units (-7.33%) and 10,315 units (-1.43%) respectively.
Tvs’s zest remained stable with 8,069 units, which almost reflect no change compared to last year. The TVs Ronin saw a substantial jump in sales, up 179.27%, with 4,770 units sold against 1,708 in May 2024. The TVs also resumed the sales of the Star City, which recorded 1,886 units, compared to zero in the same month last year. The Apache 310 segment, however, saw a drop of 25.45%, selling only 208 units compared to 279 in May 2024.
TVS Sales Breakup May 2025 – Mom comparison
The TVs attended a drop in the month of month (Mom) of 4.44% compared to 3.23,647 units sold in April 2025. While some models such as Apache, Zest and Apache 310 have recorded a positive growth of the mother, others such as Jupiter, Raider and Star City have seen significant drops.
Jupiter recorded 97,606 units, down 4.86% compared to 1,02,588 April units. On the contrary, the Apache series grew by 7.60%, going up to 49,099 units of 45,633 units. XL Moped saw a slight dive of 3.83%, with sales to 37,264 units, while Raider faced a more clear fall of 17.73%, sliding to 35,401 units.
Iquube Electric Scooter remained largely stable, recording 27,642 units, a marginal increase of 0.14% since April. Ntorq also remained constant, recording a slight dive of 0.70% with 25,205 units sold. Entry-level motorcycles such as sport and Radeon decreased by 8.32% and 8.55% respectively, selling 11,822 and 10,315 units. However, the zest wrapped the trend with an increase of 2.09%, growing at 8,069 units.
The TVs Ronin saw a decline in the mother of 12.86%, finishing May with 4,770 units, while Star City recorded a strong drop of 36.41%, going down to 1,886 units. On a brighter note, the Apache 310 grew by 43.45%, recording 208 units compared to 145 April units.
