

The two -wheel market of India has continued to show a strong momentum in May 2025, with a total of 11.84,386 units sold among the first 10 models, recording an annual growth of 3.72% over 11.41,891 units sold in May 2024.
Hero Splendor was led by the pack, which maintained the title of Best-Vendento of India with 3,10,335 units sold, a modest increase of 1.86% compared to last year. Honda Activa continued to be the best -selling, but recorded a drop in 11.85%, descending from 2.16 lakh to 1.90,713 units.



Honda Shine ensured third place with 1,58,271 units, recording a growth of 6.18%, while Bajaj Pulsar slipped to the fourth position with 1.22,151 units, assisting a drop of 4.93%compared to May 2024
Tvs Jupiter recorded a remarkable increase of 28.70%, with 97,606 units sold, compared to 75,838 last year. Suzuki’s access scooter also worked well, recording an increase of 16.92% to reach 75,778 units.
APache TVs recorded a solid growth of 29.53%, with sales that went up to 49,099 units, while XL TVs decreased by 7.75%, with 37,264 units. To complete the list was TVS Raider, which recorded 35,401 units, slightly down 4.96% compared to last year.
Overall, the segment showed a healthy mix of growth and correction on different models and producers, indicating a continuous demand in commuters and scooters segments.
