Top 10 motorcycles May 2025

Motorcycles sales last month saw the growth of 6.35% on an annual basis with Hero Splendor and Honda Shine at the top of the list

Following our previous reports on the first 10 two -wheeled sales and the 10 best sales of scooters in May 2025, now we examine the best -selling motorcycles for the same month. Motorcycles sales in May 2025 amounted to 8.85,467 units, which represent an increase of 6.35% of 8.32,586 units sold in May 2024.

The increase in the volume stands at 52,881 units. It was also a significant growth on the basis of a 7,21,735 units sold in April 2025 relating to an impressive improvement in the volumes of 1,63,735 units.

Hero Splendor exceeded this list with 3,10,335 sales of units last month. It was a growth of 1.86% on an annual basis of 3.04,663 units sold in May 2024 relating to an increase in the unitary volume of 5,672 to capture a share of 35.05% in this list. Last month, the company introduced the most exclusive splendor+ XTEC 2.0. Launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the splendor, the best -selling motorcycle in the world, receives updated design elements and exclusive features while keeping its classic design at the same time.

At n. 2 There was the Honda Shine with 1,58,271 units sold in May 2025. It was a 6.18% increase on an annual basis compared to 1,49,054 units sold in the same month last year. Bajaj Pulsar followed the following with a 4.93%annual sales drop. There were 1.22,151 pulsar units sold last month, a declining of the unitary volume of 6,329 over 1.28,480 unitary sales of May 2024.

Even with sales above the 1st 1st unit brand there was the HF deluxe hero. Sales grew by 23.67% to 1.07,768 units in May 2025 by 87,143 unitary sales of May 2024. These 4 stalwarts commanded a combined share of 79% among the top 10 motorcycles of May 2025.

Sales of motorcycles sub-50.000-May 2025

At the bottom the sales order was the TVS Apache with 49,099 sales of units. It recorded an increase of 29.53% on an annual basis of 37,906 units sold in May 2024 relating to an increase in the unitary volume of 11,193. Also from the TVs TVs was the raider with 35,401 units sold last month even if Yoy’s sales decreased by 4.96%.

In the last month, the King Classic 350 sales have increased by 20.39% to 28,628 units. This was a volume growth of 4,849 units over 23,779 units sold in May 2024. The Classic 350 currently has a share of 3.23% in this list. Honda CB Unicorn followed a quick succession with 28,616 units sold last month. He witnessed an increase of 15.67% on an annual basis compared to 24,740 units sold in May 2024.

Lower sales performances have been observed in the case of Bajaj Platina. Sales decreased by 7.67% on an annual basis at 27,919 units, down 2,320 units of 30,239 sales of May 2024. On the other hand, Bullet 350 sales saw a solid growth of 85.16% on a Yoy basis. Sales have improved by 9,332 unit sales of May 2024 to 17,279 units in the last month recording an increase in the unitary volume of 7,947.
