Admission in Sarvodaya School in UP is done on the basis of vacant seats in classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11. Written entrance examination is conducted for this. The special thing is that a total of 70 seats have been set for admission in classes 6 and 7. Two sections are made in these classes, in which 35-35 students will get space in each.

In UP Sarvodaya School, rural students will be given priority in 85% seats, while 15% seats will be reserved for urban students. Reservation has also been arranged for the purpose of ensuring social justice. Out of this, 60% seats are scheduled for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, 25% seats for Other Backward Classes and the remaining 15% seats are scheduled for general category.
