These 4 astronauts will fly in gaganyaan mission PM Modi announs

The names of 4 astronauts have been announced for the country’s first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced four names that are training for Mission-Gaganyaan. He said that Group Captain Prashant Balakrishnan Nair, Angad Pratap and Ajit Krishnan and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla are astronauts selected for Gaganyaan Mission. The PM arrived at Thumba near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala to visit Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC). He also inaugurated three Space Infrastructure Projects of ISRO.According to PTI report, the PM also gave ‘astronaut feathers’ to the four astronauts selected for the Gaganyaan Mission. He said that these are four such forces that incorporate the aspirations of 1.4 billion people of the country. He said that after 40 years someone is ready to go into Indian space and this time the countdown, time and even rockets are ours.

The Prime Minister said that he is proud and happy that most of the parts used in Gaganyaan Human Space Flight Mission are made in India. The Prime Minister also emphasized the “important role” played by women in the country’s space program. He said that women are important parts in space operations like Chandrayaan and Gaganyaan and it would not have been possible without them.

Modi also said that India’s success in the space sector is not only sowing the seeds of scientific thinking in the younger generation of the country, but also with significant developmental progress in various fields, it is also helping to emerge as a big global player in the 21st century. The Prime Minister also reviewed ISRO’s Gaganyaan Human Space Flight Program during this period.
