Along with grazing sheep with his father, he also worked so hard in studies that he has become an example for everyone by securing 91.50 percent marks in the 10th board examination.
Rajaram, a resident of Venpura, a small village in Pali district, has recognized his village with the story of hard work coming out of his soil. His dream is that by studying further, he can become an inspiration for rural children. Rajaram says that when he saw the result, his eyes became moist, because it was not just a victory of points, but the son of a shepherd was encouraged to hold his future.

Rajaram Dewasi of Venpura, a small village in Pali district, has become a source of inspiration by showing excellence in studies. Along with grazing the sheep and flock, he never gave up studies. By scoring 91.50 percent marks in the 10th board examination, he proved that hard work gives wings to dreams, not the situation.
Books not broken by books between forests and mountains
Rajaram currently graze more than 200 sheep along with his father Obaram Dewasi in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. Animal husbandry is the main source of his family’s livelihood. Even while living in the forest and mountains, Rajaram never broke friendship with his books. Where he got a chance, he sat and studied there. His hard work has brought color today and has illuminated the name of the family.
Father allowed to study even while grazing sheep
Rajaram studies at Navjyoti School near Bijova village, which is about 10 km from his village. The school’s principal Bherram Sisodia says that Rajaram’s family spends most of the year in Malwa, but the student never gave up with online studies and his own efforts. Rajaram attributes his success to his parents and teachers. They say that the father gave full exemption to study even while grazing the sheep, the mother always increased courage and the school teachers kept supporting him in every difficulty.
