Like most people who start looking at shoes barefoot, I started having foot pain. My heels began to hurt me when I walked. Plantar fascite was the problem and conventional wisdom is to take shoes Moreover padding. But I started reading about people who edited their various foot problems going barefoot, or at least turning to “zero drop” shoes, where the shoe bed is the tip to the heel. My wife also passed to barefoot shoes after foot surgery has not solved foot problems and has never had problems since then.
Robust construction
It seems that many people are taking hold with barefoot shoes, at least the sandals. Some fashion brands, such as Miu Miu, recently released expensive versions of Xero Genesis Paracord sandals.
The idea behind shoes barefoot is to eliminate the support of the bow, to widen the front of the shoe so that the fingers of the feet can explode and let the foot move in the way it has evolved to move. In 2020, I wrote about my experience with the Xero Z-Trails and I quickly passed to the even more minimalist Z-bescs. I still wear The Z-Treks Today.
Barefoot shoes– Sandals – they are more difficult to find. THE Vibram Fivefingers They are the iconic barefoot shoe, but those seem a little foolish. For a long time, my solution was to spend as long as possible in the climates in which the Z-Treks were suitable. Living in a camper allowed me to go where time adapted to my clothes, so I did it. In the end, however, time reaches you. In addition, it’s nice to have at least a pair of shoes you love.
At the end of last year, Vivobarefoot released the Sensus shoe. Vivobarefoot was founded in 2010 by Galahad and Asher Clark (Yes, those clarks), and specializes in super thin shoes that make you feel the ground. What immediately jumped me out for the sensus was the low sole, 3 mm. Vivobarefoot sent me a couple to test, and they quickly became my favorite shoes (the downside is the interesting style, which my daughter describes to “elfin”).
Fortunately for me, I don’t care how they seem what I am interested in how they feel and the sensus adapts to my feet like a couple of gloves. There is no sun, so there is almost no cushioning, Vella just to save you from acute objects on the ground.
Robust construction
These are very well made and resistant shoes. The construction is excellent and the seams on the bottom – something that worried me when I saw it for the first time – resisted well for almost a year without signs of wear (even the soles are replaceable).
This is where the curious aspect comes into play. The lateral seams that attack the upper with the sole are not just for that elfin sweet style, it is also to increase the range of movement that your foot has when you walk.
