Honda Cars India has launched new editions of its vehicles to increase sales in the recent past. We saw it with high and city. Higher than the city. This could change as soon as Honda has just made fun of a new version in a special edition of the city sedan on their social media handles. Let’s take a look at what it is.
New Honda City Special Edition
To increase sales, Honda seems to launch a special edition of City Beran in India. Currently, Honda City starts from RS 12.38 Lakh (Ex-SH) for the basic variant SV Petrol MT and goes up to RS 16.65 Lakh (ex-SH) for ZX Petrol CVT. In February 2025, Honda launched City Apex Edition in India and it is likely that something similar is doing again.
On social media handles, Honda Cars India has made fun of a new version in City special edition. The caption recited “fixing the seat belts and preparing for a sportier life. Stay tuned!”. Honda has not revealed more information also with its hashtags. You can imagine a sporting edition of the city that will be positioned on the high -level ZX layout level.
This is likely to be a special edition with only cosmetic updates to make it a little more sporty than it currently does. There may be some sports elements outside to improve its sporting element. Some black finishes on the front and rear bumper, black Orvm and probably also a spoiler of black lip.

What to expect?
Even the black wheels can be in the mix or there may be completely a new design of the wheels. Inside, we can expect sporty red elements on dashboard, upholstery, central console and other elements. We can expect red seams on the steering wheel and the gear selector and the seat covering.
The power supply of this vehicle will be the same 4-cylinder petrol engine aspirated naturally from 1.5 liters with VT-TEC variable valve time. This engine is able to generate 120 hp of peak power power and peak torque, combined with a 5 -speed manual or CVT. The same state of melody and performance parenthesis is probably with this next special edition of Honda City.
City was among the final sedans in the Indian market with an exceptional call from the brand among fans. Currently, City is at her fifth generation avatar in India and rivals other c+ seats such as Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Hyundai Verna. It should be noted that it was the city that was born from the sizes of the sedan of the c sedan in India.
