The escape plan of the New Age travel accessories platform has collected $ 5 million in a financing round led by Jungle Ventures via First@Jungle and Fireside Ventures. The round has also seen the participation of other angels investors.First Check@Jungle is the Jungle Venture platform for the financing of the founders of the second time and of expert operators in the Idea, Pre-Seed and Seed phases.

Launched in May 2025, the company based in Bengaluru sells travel bags and accessories for daily travel and holidays. Its products include baggage bags, backpacks, laptop bags, gym bags, neck cushions, passport roofs, belts, wallets and other travel needs.

“Attention is paid to solve all the travel needs of every consumer in India and in the end globally. We have recently launched and we are already seeing good treatment,” said Abhinav Pathak, co -founder of Escape Plan, in a conversation with et. “We have some shops set up in six to seven cities and we are aggressively reducing this to expand to over 100 stores in the next 18-24 months because 65-70% of the travel category is still offline.”In addition to expanding its retail imprint, the company will use funds for the acquisition of customers and to launch its rapid trade services.

“Most of our capital will go to production capacity and planning as we are recording with some popular brands and building rapid trade skills to offer in one or two hours in the key cities,” said Pathak.

“With the global market of travel accessories that exceeds $ 20 billion and a founder team with this operational depth, we are confident that the escape plan has the ingredients to build an influential brand from India,” said Rishab Malik, partner, Seed Investimenti, Jungle Ventures, in a prepared declaration.

“With its acute vision of the brand, the omnichannel strategy and the strong founder team, we believe that the escape plan is ready to become a lifestyle brand that defines the category with global relevance,” said Vinay Singh, partner, Fireside Ventures.

Escape Plan sells on its products to the platform manufactured internally and by other brands.

The Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Mokobara baggage brand, escaped from Peak XV-Miglia partners, capital and accessories acefour, are some new popular players in the segment of bags and travel accessories.

Escape Plan was founded by Abhinav Pathak, previously founder of Perpule, and Abhinav Zutshi, who had previously worked with Big Bazaar, Best Seller Group, Forever 21 and Landmark Group.

Pathak cooked the perpolating at the end of 2016, which created a mobile Point of Sale software for offline stores, which was acquired by Amazon in 2021.
