The skin care brand of the actor Kriti Sanon Hyphen said on Wednesday that he had crossed £ 400 in gross sales, marking a significant milestone for a company led by celebrities in the competitive market of the beauty and personal care of India.

Launched two years ago, the brand claims to have grown rapidly, supported by a digital-prime strategy, usual customers and an offer of focused products.

Sanon, who obtained a degree in engineering, co-founded the brand with a team of six engineers. Together, they have built what is now one of the consumer’s direct skin care brands (D2C) quickly growing in the country. Only in the last year, the base of Hyphen customers grew from 1 million to 4 million, with 60% of customers reported for repeated purchases.

“In the last two years they have been unbelievable to say the least,” said Sanon. “Building a dash from scratch was one of the most personal and satisfying trips of my life. Looking at him grow from an idea in a brand that so many consumers now trust and love are still surreal.”Hyphen said that its range of products is built on a mixture of formulations supported by science and ingredients derived from nature, with prices aimed at accessibility. The brand currently serves customers in over 19,000 PIN codes throughout India and is largely based on digital channels on a scale.

Sanon has maintained active involvement in the development and growth of the brand, a move that distinguishes it from many other celebrities that licensed their names to third -party initiatives. His attention to the positioning of the brand and the involvement of customers has contributed to his credibility and his moment.
