The sales of the EU of Bevs, Hevs and Phevs combined represented 58.9% of the recordings of passenger cars in May, compared to 48.9% in May 2024.
Among the major EU markets, new cars sales in Spain and Germany increased by 18.6% and 1.2% respectively, while in France and Italy they decreased by 12.3% and 0.1%.
In Great Britain, recordings increased by 1.6%.
