In the International Market of EV, Tesla is getting competing with companies like China’s byd. The increasing tension between the US and China over tariffs is also affecting Tesla. Tesla has stopped taking orders from China for model S sedan and model X SUV. Both these models of the company are exported from the US.
Tesla’s first showroom in India may open in Mumbai’s Brandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The company has taken a space of about 4,000 square feet in BKC’s Maker Maxity Building. For this, a securities deposit of about 2.11 crore rupees has been given. The fare of this space will be Rs 35.26 lakh per month. In the second half of this year, the company can start business in the country. Initially the company may import EV from its factory in Berlin, Germany. Tesla can set up its factory in the country over the next few years.
