TCL QM8K review: the best intermediate level TV

If you want a Well Images and large apps for less, you can get it with a cheaper Hisense or TCL model, but if you want an excellent photo, this is the most convenient way to get it this year.

QM8k’s creation experience is basically the same as any other TV. The QM8K is available in a large cardboard box surrounded by foam and you will want two people to pull it out, they put it on a soft surface such as a bed or a table with a blanket and install the support for pedestal included. It is provided with a power cord and a remote retroilluminated (!), But you will have to provide your HDMI cables if you want to connect something to one of its four doors (two HDMI 2.1, two HDMI 2.0).

I always love a TV with a mountain of pedestal and this support is robust and easy to connect. It also allows you to tilt the TV. Likewise, the Google TV interface included is extremely easy to use, with QR -based access for essentially every modern streaming app and rapid swaps between the apps (something with which I had a problem on the TCL models last year).

The TV supports Chromecast and Airplay 2, which makes the casting of music and Youtube clips super easy for people who visit and on your Wi-Fi. The TV has the Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 support, and it was more than able to keep up with 4K streaming on my net at home. He also has Ethernet, if you want to want to go hard for the fastest speeds.

The lack of frames is not immediately evident if you are not looking for it, but once you see that the brushed shotgun frame now immediately passes to the screening after only 3.2 millimeter-rather that having a 10 mm-all comparable black edge seems old and tired. The splendid WHVA Crystal panel is able to up to 3,040 local darkening areas (depending on the size of the TV that purchases), which makes an extraordinary image and the lack of frame makes it seem that the image is in the balance in space.
