Tata Starbucks, on Monday, clarified that he does not have an official ambassador of the brand in India, following the speculations on social media that connect the company to Dolly Chaiwala, an internet personality known for his style that tea does.The company has released a declaration to face the confusion deriving from a meme created by a third party, which was interpreted badly as an official campaign.
In a shared declaration on LinkedIn, the company said: “We noticed recent social media posts that suggest that Tata Starbucks has appointed an official brand ambassador. We would like to clarify that Tata Starbucks has no official brand ambassadors in India. In particular, we did not enter any collaboration with Dolly Chaiwala.
“Tata Starbucks undertakes to communicate with precision and authenticity and we appreciate the trust of our customers and communities,” added the company.Tata Starbucks specifically denied any collaboration with Sunil Patel, popularly known as Dolly Chaiwala. This statement aims to rest the speculation aroused by viral posts on social media.
