Tata Motors’ safari was the top SUV for the brand for a long time. It works mainly with Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector Plus in the SUV D segment in India. Currently, Tata Safari and its 5 -seater counterpart, The Harrier, are offered with a single 2.0L Turbo diesel engine that is coming from Stellantide.

The recent shots of the Praveen Kumar car drying light could test the new 1.5 -liter TGDI TGDI petrol engine. There was a mimetic trial mule and a completely non -Clean test mule spied together. This new petrol engine will allow the price of price Harrier and Safari much more aggressively. Let’s take a closer look.

It will debut with Harrier and Safari and it is likely that it will be inserted under the hood of the imminent Sierra and even in Cunvv. This is the TGDI petrol engine that Tata is developing internally.

This 1.5 lturbo 4 -cylinder petrol engine with direct petrol injection technology should be an power plant, which will develop about 170 HP of peak power and 280 Nm of peak torque. The figures of the performance are quite healthy, but not as healthy as the Mahindra Turbo 2.0L petrol engine is evaluated.

Could this be the 180 HP diesel?

Recently, Tata Motors has acquired development rights on this 2.0 -liter turbo diesel engine and there are speculations of a new 180 HP melody with about 400 Nm of torque. This is a slight increase compared to the current state of melody where this 2.0 -liter turbo diesel engine generates 170 HP and 350 Nm.

Tata Safari Test Mule Spoted, could test this new state of melody on which Tata has worked. In both ways, Tata Safari will receive some mechanical updates to further attract buyers and increase sales in the SUV segment.
