Just yesterday, Tata Motors has announced prices for all Harrier EV and today RWD variants, we get the evaluation results of the Bharat Ncap of Harrier EV Crashworthness. At this point, Tata Motors has become synonymous with vehicular security and Harrier EV further accentuates the fact that, since it marks a 5 -star fat rating in the NCAP Bharat crashes.



Harrier EV is the company’s flagship electric SUV and leaves no stones intended for vehicular safety. Positioned on the Acti.ev platform, Harrier EV is built from scratch as an electrical vehicle even if it shares its cylinder hat with Harrier’s ice. As revealed by Bharat Ncap, the tested variant was Harrier EV enhanced 75 kWh and enhanced 75 kWh AWD (QWD Second Tata). It is a two -file SUV with the maximum seats of five occupants. The weight of the vehicle tested in crash was evaluated at 2,574 kg and these assessments are applicable to all Harrier EV variants.



5 -star assessments
Speaking of evaluations, Harrier EV has marked a 5 -star evaluation both in the protection of adult occupants and in the protective tests of children’s occupants. Harrier EV is equipped with front and lateral airbags as standard together with ESC (electronic stability control), a seat belt reminder on all seats, pretensions of the belt and loading limits on the front seats and ISOFIX children’s supports in the rear.



In the protective tests of the occupants for adults, Harrier EV has marked 32/32 points as it has obtained 16/16 points both in the deformable barrier test in front offset and in the deformable side mobile barrier test. All the evaluation points of a human body in the front seats showed “good” protection with green areas to the end.
In the protective tests of occupants for children, Harrier EV scored 45/49 points as it obtained 24/2 points in the dynamic score, 12/12 points in the installation score of CRS and 9/13 points in the vehicle evaluation score. It should be noted that the immediate rival of Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra XEV 9E, has also obtained identical results with a 5 -star evaluation in the protection of the occupants both adults and for children.
