Success story: Tamil Nadu transgender Dr. N. Jensi has created a history, which is being discussed all around. His journey is an example of struggle, courage and dedication till his journey to become Assistant Professor at Loyola College in Chennai, leaving the small village of Tiruttani in Thiruvallur district.
Gold achieved in graduation and PG
Dr. N. Jensi’s magnificent academic records are his talent and hard work testimony. He won the gold medal in both graduation and post graduation. After this, he also obtained PhD degree. Dr. Jensi said on his achievement, “This is not mine, my transgender community is a victory. I want my struggle to reach all the people who are still deprived of education or respect due to society.” He appealed to the society, “Just adopt us as you accept nature. Teach us instead of getting out of the house and give a chance to move forward.”
Heart touching appeal from Chief Minister
On his appointment, Chief Minister M.K. After meeting Stalin, he thanked the state government for the social justice initiatives. Also made an emotional request, “I am not my father, but I consider the Chief Minister as a father and request him to appoint a permanent professor in a government college in Tamil Nadu.
