The Common Admission Test (CAT) was held in November 2024 for admission to the country’s top management institute Indian Institute of Management (IIM). In which 27 -year -old Dipesh ensured his admission in IIM Shillong by scoring 92.5 percent marks.

Father lost at the age of 11

Deepesh Kevalani lost his father at the age of just 11 years. After which Deepesh’s family came to Ahmedabad from Jaipur with his maternal uncle and started living in Naroda area. At that time, he was six -year -old brother Dinesh and mother in his family. When Deepesh was elder, he took the responsibility of family on his delicate shoulders. In a conversation with the BBC, Deepesh said that a trust of his community helped the family a lot. The trust helped both brothers from the trust for school fees.

Deepesh says that he was studying in seventh grade and started working at a shoe shop in the area.
This is from the year 2011-12. At that time, the shop used to get 1500 rupees a month salary. Apart from this, uncle also used to help a little. Deepesh says that life continued and then passed the 10th examination with 85% and 89% marks of 12th. In 12th, he was a topper in his school.

Chowkidar job started in 12th grade

Deepesh says that after taking the 12th exam in March 2017, he came to know about the job of the watchman in Cantt in Shahibagh, Ahmedabad. He got this job. In this job, he started getting 18000 rupees a month. He did BCom and M.Com while working as a watchman. Both of them passed through disturbing.
