What is starship rocket
Starship is a reusable rocket. It has two parts mainly. The first is- passenger carry section means in which passengers will remain, while the second is a super heavy rocket booster. Its length is 394 feet (120 meters) by combining starships and boosters. While the weight is 50 million kg. According to the information, the Starship rocket is capable of generating a thrust of 1.6 million pounds (70 MW). This is almost twice as much more than NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.
Rocket has been tested four times so far
The starship has been tested four times so far. It was first tested in April 2023. Then in November. This year it was tested for the third and fourth time on 14 March and 6 June. All launchs were launched in South Texas with the launch site Starbase. It has been seen to improve after every test. For example, during the latest test, super heavy and ship were separated from each other on time and returned to Earth as per the plan. He made landing in the Gulf of Mexico and the Indian Ocean.
Through the upcoming test, the company would like to remove all the uncertainty related to this rocket, so that it gets government approval to blow it in future.
