With the aim of making a strong return to the Chinese electric vehicle market, Hyundai is planning to launch more new models including Bevs, Phevs and Erevs. These will be manufactured by Beijing Hyundai, a joint venture between Hyundai and the Baic Chinese state car manufacturer. Both entities have collectively allocated an investment war of $ 1.1 billion to support EV development and face rivals such as Byd, Tesla, Nio and Xpeng.
One of the imminent products is the Elexio Electric SUV of Hyundai, who had made its global debut in May 2025. Now, with the homologation applications and sales license presented in China, some of the key specifications have been published on the website of the Ministry of Industry and the Chinese information Technology (MIT). Hyundai Elexio EV – Performance, Range

Although the details of the battery capacity have not been revealed, it is possible that Hyundai Elexio can use a 101.7 kWh battery pack.
