While cosmetic touches and new equipment is obtained, Kushaq Lifting will maintain the 1.0 -liter and 1.5 -liter turbo petrol engine options
Launched in 2021, Skoda Kushaq is preparing for a lifting. The new model should be launched by the end of this year or at the beginning of 2026. The recent shots of India Autocar light show a partially camouflaged test vehicle that provides some suggestions on potential changes. Take a look at the details.
Skoda Kushaq spie dizzy – What’s new?
The cosmetic retouches for the Lifting of Skoda Kushaq will include renewed lighting elements and some front grid variants. The Air Dam section has a more clear geometric design and a new coating element. With a more vertical front band, the vehicle now commands a stronger road presence. The lateral profile is largely the same as before, with traditional doors handles, darkened B pillars and electrically folding orvm.
However, Kushaq’s lifting gets new alloy wheels in black finish. In the rear, the most clear tail lamps are expected in interconnected format. Some touch -ups may also be there on the rear bumper. It remains to be seen if some new color options are introduced with Kushaq’s lifting. Inside, Kushaq’s lifting should obtain refreshing themes, environmental lighting, upholstery and new features.

Addition of level 2 Adas
Kushaq is one of the safest cars in India, having received a 5-star NCAP safety assessment in 2022. The safety kit is complete enough with features such as ESC, 6-Airbags, Hill Hold Control, electronic differential block, traction control system, brake disc discs, protection rolling and pressure monitoring of pressure pressure.
However, Adas is currently missing, which will be added with the Lifting model. Adas is now available with several rival compact SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Selos, Honda Have, Tata Curvvo and Mg Astor. The Adas Level 2 kit aboard the Kushaq Lifting will include functionality as assistance for lanes, automatic emergency braking and control of adaptive cruise speed. The next SKODA SLAVIA RESTYLING is also expected to obtain the level 2 Adas update.
New automatic 8 -speed converter transmission
Skoda Kushaq’s lifting will continue with the existing engine options of a 1.0 -liter turbo petrol and 1.5 -liter turbo petrol. The first generates 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. It has options for transmission of a 6 -speed MT and 6 speeds at. The 1.5 liter engine produces 150 CS and 250 Nm of torque. It is coupled to a 7 -speed DSG transmission.

While these engine options will be maintained, the 6at transmission with the 1.0 -liter turbo petrol engine should be replaced with a new automatic 8 -speed torque converter. Coming from Aisin, this new transmission will increase fuel efficiency. It will also help to achieve compliance with the imminent standards Cafe III. The new 8 -speed torque converter will be introduced later and not at the time of the launch of the lifting model.
Kushaq’s restyling should be launched by the end of the year or at the beginning of 2026. With updates, prices could be increased for the highest finishes. Starting now, Skoda Kushaq is available in the price range of RS 11 Lakh a RS 19 Lakh.
