Several states including UP, MP, Delhi-NCR, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar have recorded a drop in temperature.

When will schools open in Delhi: Schools in the country’s capital Delhi will open from July 1, 2025. Dates from May 11 to June 30 were set for summer vacation here.

When will schools open in Uttar Pradesh: Summer holidays in UP started on May 20 and will end on 15 June. However, schools in most districts are closed till June 30.

When will schools open in Rajasthan: According to the circular of Rajasthan Education Department, the schools of Rajasthan will have summer holidays from May 1 to June 15. Accordingly, schools will open from 16 June 2025.

When will schools open in Madhya Pradesh: Summer holidays in Madhya Pradesh schools are also declared from May 1 to 15 June 2025, that is, schools here can also open from June 16.

When will the schools of Tamil Nadu open: Summer holidays in Tamil Nadu are about to end. Summer vacation was announced in schools here from 30 April to 1 June. Schools will open from June 2. However, the date can be changed on the basis of weather conditions.

When will Bihar schools open: Educational institutions of Bihar are expected to reopen on 23 June. The period of summer vacation here is determined from 2 June to 21 June.

When will Punjab schools open: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains ordered the schools to be closed by 30 June 2025. If the weather is favorable, the schools will open from July 1.

When will the schools of Haryana open: All the state -run schools will open again on 1 July. Here the summer vacation is scheduled from 1 month period i.e. from June 1 to June 30.

When will the schools of Karnataka open: Summer holidays in Karnataka were scheduled between April 10 and May 28. However, schools in many districts are closed due to rain.

When will schools open in Kerala: All schools in Kerala will reopen on June 1. But the holidays can be increased in view of the monsoon and rain situation.

When will schools open in Chhattisgarh: According to Jagran’s report, the duration of the holidays is from 25 April to 15 June. Schools here will open from June 16.

When will schools open in Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat: The schools in Maharashtra are expected to open from June 15, Goa from 9 June and Gujarat from June 4.

West Bengal schools will open all: Summer vacation in schools in West Bengal started from 30 April. Schools are expected to open here from June 2.

Kendriya Vidyalaya: When will Kendriya Vidyalaya open?

Kendriya Vidyalayas are affiliated to CBSE Board (Kendriya Vidyalaya Holidays). Here the same rules run, which are made for other schools affiliated to CBSE. Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) is located across the country. These schools are closed on the basis of location and are opened accordingly. Every Kendriya Vidyalaya does not have the dates of summer vacation. Some will have 40 days off from May 9 to June 17, while others will remain closed for 50 days from May 2 to June 20.
