ISSF World Cup: Saurabh Chaudhary won a bronze medal in the men’s 10m air pistol event in the ISSF World Cup. Hu Kai of China won gold and Felip Almeeda Wu of Brazil won the silver medal.

Lima: Veteran shooter Saurabh Chaudhary on Tuesday opened India’s account by winning a bronze medal in the men’s 10m air pistol event on the first day of the second ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun phase of the year.
Hu Kai of China won the gold medal with a score of 246.4, which was just 0.1 less than the world record. Brazilian Olympic medalist Felip Almeeda Wu won the silver medal.
Gold medalist Saurabh at the Asian Games (2018) and the Youth Olympics won a bronze medal with a score of 219.1 after the 22nd shot at the Las Palmas shooting campus.
Earlier, Saurabh and Varun Tomar managed to make it to the finals of eight shooters. In this, Saurabh finished fifth in the qualification with a score of 578, while Varun finished eighth with 576. Varun missed the medal by lagging behind under pressure in the final.
