ISRO i.e. Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) of the Indian Space Research Organization has more than 64 jobs. These jobs are Technician-B, Draftsman-B and Pharmacist-A, where salary starts from Rs 21,700 and can get Rs 92,300 every month. This is only salary, besides medical, housing and a lot of facilities will also be available.

What is this job and why is it special?

We all talk about seeing the moon and stars in the dream, but by working in ISRO, you can really become a part of the moon and Mars’s mission. VSSC is a large center of ISRO, which works on rockets and space technology. Here 64 posts have been recruited, in which you can become technicians, draftsmen or pharmacists.

Who can apply?

Now you must be wondering whether this job is for me or not? So let’s know what qualifications are needed for this.
Technician-B: There should be ITI degree from a good institute. For example, in electronics, fitter, welder or machineist trade, your degree and age should be completed by 16 June 2025.
Draftsman-B: ITI degree, especially in mechanical or civil draftsman.
Pharmacist-A: Degree of D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy).
Age:At least 18 years and maximum 35 years (till 16 June 2025). SC/ST people will get 5 years discount, OBC people will get 3 years discount. If you are from PWBD (Divyang), Ex-Servicemen or other category, you can get more discounts.

How much salary will be received?

If you get selected in ISRO, then different salary will be available for different posts.
Technician-B and Draftsman-B will get Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 every month. Formacist-A will get salary of Rs 29,200 to 92,300 every month. If you become a pharmacist, then in the beginning you become a pharmacist, then in the beginning only Rs 29,200 per month! And as your experience increases, salary will also increase. Also facilities like medical, canteen and housing for free.

How will the job be confirmed?

ISRO has two easy steps to get jobs:
Paper Dena (Retan Test): In this, there will be testing of your studies and general knowledge. Questions related to ITI or D.Pharma will be asked. A little math, region and current affairs will also be asked.
Practical check (skill test): If you pass the paper, then your skills will be checked in the next round. For example, a technician should run a machine. Draftsman should get drawing and pharmacists should use medicines. Those who score well in both tests will get jobs.

Register: Create your account on the National Career Service (NCS) portal of ISRO.
Fill the form: Click on Apply Now and enter your details. Like name, study and mobile number.
Upload the paper: ITI or D.Pharma certificate, photo, signature and if SC/ST/OBC, then upload its certificate. Submit the face online. The duty details will be available in the notification.
