Samsung May Launch Galaxy Z Fold 7 as Thinnest Foldable Smartphone, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi

In the last few years, sales of foldable smartphones have increased rapidly. Along with this, competition is also increasing in this segment. South Korea’s smartphone maker Samsung’s early launch Galaxy Z fold can be the thinnest smartphone. On folding it, its thickness can be 8.9 mm. China’s smartphone maker Oppo claims that its Find N5 is the thinnest foldable smartphone. On folding it, the thickness is 8.93 mm and 4.21 mm for unfolding. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 may have a 200 -megapixel primary rear camera. Last year, a similar camera was given in the Galaxy S25 Ultra of the company introduced in select markets.

The tipster says that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a 4,400 mAh battery, which is similar to the battery of Galaxy Z Fold 6 introduced last year. Earlier, tipster @Pandaflashpro had reported that Samsung had started manufacturing the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. In July last year, the company introduced Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 can be launched in select international markets in July.

This year, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 plans to manufacture about 20 lakh units of 7 and about 3 million units of Galaxy Z Flip 7. This will be about 40 percent less than manufacturing the company’s existing foldable smartphones. The reason for this may be less than the cells estimate of Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The launch of Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be held in early July. This event may be held in New York, USA this year.
