Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event May Be Held Next Month for New Foldable Smartphone Series

This smartphone series can include Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Apart from this, Galaxy Watch 8 and new Galaxy Buds can also be introduced. Earlier in a leak, it was reported that this event would be held in New York, USA. Last year, the company introduced Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 on 10 July. This year also this event can take place in early July. In this, Fan Edition (FE) version of Galaxy Z Flip 7 can also be brought.

The Galaxy Watch 8 can also be introduced in the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event. This may include a new version of Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Samsung’s triple-folded smartphone may also be introduced in this event. Recently, Samsung had told in a blog post that the upcoming Galaxy Z series will be the thin, lightweight and most advanced in the segment of foldable smartphones. This post gave a video of a book-style foldable smartphone. This indicated this Galaxy Z fold 7. The company had said that with the new Galaxy Z series its designers and engineers focus on making the devices more slim, lightweight and durable. Samsung has reported that this smartphone will provide an ULTRA level experience. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 can be given a 200 megapixel primary rear camera.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 has also been seen on the wireless power consortium (WPC) website. Its model number is SM-D617D. This listing has indicated support for QI 2.1 wireless charging. It can support the baseline power profile (BPP). The company also had support for QI charging and BPP in the Galaxy S25 series.
