The iconic motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, intensified his game in the electric motorcycle segment. After Himalayan Electric and Himalayan 750 test mules, both Flying Flea C6 and S6 were spied on during the altitude tests. With these latter shots of spy, we take a more close look at Flying Flea S6, which is the scrambler version of this bike.
Flying Flea S6 Scrambler – Royal Enfield Scrambler Electric
Royal Enfield has made significant steps towards the kingdom of electric motorcycles. Known for its nostalgic design and the thud of its long -term engines, Royal Enfield is working on an electrical version of the Himalayas and therefore to a completely new range of urban electric bikes called Flying Flea.
FLYING FLEA S6 is a Scrambler-style motorcycle while Flying Flea C6 is more a neo-retro-style machine. Both of these machines have made their global debut at 2024 Eicma Show and are scheduled for the launch in 2026. Both machines are positioned on the next Royal Enfield L platform, which generate light urban electric bikes.
Compared to C6, the Scrambler Flying Flea S6 brings a similar design and panels. The main differences can be seen in terms of components such as S6 beam forks in favor of the USD telescopic front forks. The front mudguard is also higher and obtains wire wheels wrapped with double sports tires with block motif. Both C6 and S6 obtain the rear mono-shock suspension.
What to expect?
These spy strokes suggest that the Scrambler Flying Flea S6 is close to the specific version for production, which was not the case of Himalayan Electric. We can see a lot of use of aluminum on S6 and C6 in their mainframe, sub -lary, swingarm, rear tracks, heel plates and many others. This particular test mule also had a divided Pilion seat, wrapped with brown seat coverage.
Linked to the Pilion seat was a CA charging cable with an orange high vigilance shade. The final version will probably have a more refined arrangement for the storage of the charging cable. As for the characteristics, Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 seems to obtain the same picture of Tripper Tools with the support of Google Maps together with an elegant -looking picture. So, no touchscreen.
We can also see a button on the fuel tank (not really a fuel tank), which could be a start/arrest button. This suggests the Keyless Go function, which is the first for any Royal Enfield. The details of the engine are not yet known and will probably be revealed in the coming months. A time sequence of exact launch is not yet known. But 2026 is the speculated year in which we can get our hands on one.
