Review of Anthros Chair V2: surprisingly great

It is rare for To sit in a chair that I am examining well after giving it enough test time. Usually, I want to cover my Herman Miller Embod, which seems right for my body. But the Anthros V2 It was a pleasant surprise. It has been on my radar for several months, thanks to Infinite Instagram marketing coils, but honestly, those made me even more skeptical.

Anthros is a newcomer on the scene, launching only the first version of the chair in 2023. It makes great statements on improving your posture and by offering better support compared to Office Stalwarts such as Herman Miller. It does not help that the V2 chair is north of $ 2,000, although it seems to be on sale quite often for about $ 1,900.

But after almost two months of session, the statements stand: I find it more supporting almost all the chairs I tested and my posture was fantastic. The incarnation still holds a place in my heart, but the Anthros V2 could be the best chair for anyone who tries to refine their posture, especially if you had to do with back pain.

The Anthros chair focuses on the support of the pelvis, not on the lumbar, similar to Aeron and Embody of Herman Miller, except for the fact that it gives you much more with which to work when composing the backrest. After configuring it, I received a call with an Ergonomics Anthros therapist, something that is included for each customer. The therapist looks at how you are sitting on the chair (via video call) and will give suggestions until you feel comfortable in the seat. I wish every luxury chair offered such a service.

The rear knobs left and right of the chair check the back system in two parts. The right knob moves the lumbar backwards forward and backwards and the left knob manages the upper part. I did not sit in a chair that allows you to adjust the back in this degree and I find it helping to personalize the chair in the shape of your body. My first day on the chair, I felt a little sore because it almost seemed that the chair was pushing inside.
