If you have already purchased previous Airwrap attachments, unfortunately they are not compatible with this new model due to its thinner design. In addition, like most of the Dyson tools sold in the United States, it is only 120 volts, so do not plan to pack it for your euro vacationer.
New tricks, family results
I used the co-and 2x on freshly washed hair, sometimes dried in the air for three weeks, pedaling through any attachment to see how it was held against its predecessors. I used the original and heated Airwraprap, and I tested other Multistyler, such as the Flexstyle shark (9/10, Wired Tips) and the T3 Aire 360 (9/10, Wired recommended).
The configuration was simple, but there is always a little learning curve with Dyson tools. The combination with the app was quick and the RFID technology worked as advertised; Whenever I exchanged the attachments, the device was adjusted to my last used settings.
This bundle is equipped with six attachments: a pre-stile hairdryer, a round brush, barrels of 1.2 and 1.6-inch curling barrels, an antide-snag brush and, my personal favorite, the new air base plate. The Curly+Coily kit exchanges in a widespread and voltage comb instead of the curling rod based on heron and 1.2 inches.

The Airship based on me struck me more. It smoothed and curled my ends in soft-curve C in less than 20 minutes. The heat was quite delicate that my hair did not feel sung later. I didn’t have the flat level glass, but it was close enough for a shiny look.
The ring brush and the round brush both felt updated, with longer bristles that do not grab or pull the wet ends. I got a solid volume and a frizzy control from both and felt more delicate on my roots. The curl barrels have been redesigned with square tips, which makes them easier to grab, but the results were the same: airy curls that have deflated within a couple of hours unless they spray them rigid with the hair. It has always been my biggest complaint with Airwrap. It is better in bursts than long -lasting curls and technology has not improved on that front.
What I appreciated most was not to have to fool it with the settings every time I exchanged the attachments. RFID memory is a small touch, but makes the entire process more fluid.
Big, but not essential
If you already have an Airwrap or a decent dape, it is not necessary to update. Co-Ento 2x is well designed and refined, but the main Dyson experience has not evolved dramatically.
But if you don’t have a multistyler and you have the budget to save, this is the version I would buy. It is faster, more ergonomic and overall more pleasant to use. It is undeniably expensive, but to date you get the most smooth air.
