UPSC Result 2025 Date: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) may soon release the result of Civil Services Prelims Examination. Candidates in the examination will be able to check their results by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. This examination was held across the country on Sunday, 25 May. It had two objective question papers, each duration of two hours and 200 marks. Negative marking will be applicable to wrong answers, where one third of the question marks (0.33 marks) will be deducted on every wrong answer. The preliminary examination is only for screening and its marks will not be included in the final merit list.

This year, a total of 979 posts will be filled through UPSC, including vacancies for different types of disability categories. These include 12 posts for candidates with blindness or low-vision, 7 for deaf or low hearer, 10 for walking, 9 for candidates with deafness-blindness, 9 for candidates with many disabled, and 38 posts under benchmark disability.
Under this recruitment process, selection will be made for major services like Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
