Ozone hole on antarctic shows improvement might full recover by 2066 claims new study

This shows that the ozone layer is recovered. Scientists of NOAA and NASA have monitored it from September to mid -October. They found that this time the hole in the ozone layer is the 7th smallest hole in history. That is, a very large hole has been seen seasonally in the ozone every year, but this time this hole has been found very small.

According to Dr. Paul Numan, Head of Ozone Research in NASA, the 2024 Antarctic Ozone Hole is much smaller than the 2000 hole. It has been moving towards improvement for 2 decades, whose evidence is now being seen. However, this process is said to be very slow. But the chlorofluoro carbon present in the air is said to be slowly reduced. These can take several decades to end. Scientists estimate that the recovery goes on like this, then by 2066, the hole above the Antarctic in the ozone layer will be completely filled.
