Recently, the company had reported that its unit Ola Electric Technologies have resolved the case of the outstanding amount with its former vehicle registration service provider Rosmerta by mutual consent. Regarding this outstanding amount, Rosmerta filed a petition against Ola Electric Technologies to initiate insolvency proceedings. Ola Electric had reported that Ola Electric Technologies have settled with mutual consent by Ola Electric Technologies. Rosmerta has filed a memo to withdraw petitions related to insolvency from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Bengaluru. Ola Electric said that he is committed to maintaining strong business relations and timely disposal of any commercial disputes.
In March, Ola Electric sales declined by 56 percent. Last month, Ola Electric sales was around 23,430 units. This is a 56 percent decline in sales on year-on-year basis. Ola Electric has been facing difficulties for the last several months. In February, the government has sought information from Ola Electric for not matching the sale and registration data of the company’s vehicles. The company had said that in February it was sold around 25,000 vehicles. However, only about 8,600 registrations of the company’s vehicles were seen on a government portal. Ola Electric had said that this is a matter of temporary pending of registration of vehicles.
