720 marks scored in NEET
Rupayan Mandal, who secured 720 rank out of 720 in NEET UG, has achieved All India Rank 1 in the year 2024 by preparing for NEET exam at just 18 years old. Roopayan credited his success to hard work and continuous practice. She started preparing for NEET from class 9th. Initially studied with online tuition, then took offline coaching later.
Physics became the strongest subject
Rupayan, a topper in the NEET UG examination, belongs to Murshidabad district of West Bengal. He was particularly interested in Physics, in which his father played a big role. His father himself is a physics teacher and he gave a strong foundation to the son in this subject. This is the reason that this topic in NEET became a big reason for his success.
Grandma’s disease raised interest in medical
Rupayan’s grandmother’s disease made him serious about medical science. He wanted to know how diseases occur and how they could be cured. This curiosity took him to become a doctor. This time in NEET UG 2024, there are 67 students who got 720 out of 720. This is the first time that so many students have scored full. This has raised questions on the transparency of the examination, but Roopayan believes that it has been possible due to technical means and better study material.
Teacher and parents got an atmosphere of studies
Roopayan’s tendency in studies has been since childhood, because his parents are teachers themselves. While his father guided in science, his mother is a Bengali teacher. He made a habit of reading Roopayan. According to LinkedIn Profile, he is currently studying from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. According to media reports, he is currently in the first year.
