Now youth will get better training in sports, multipurpose stadium going to be made in Meerut!

Meerut: There is good news for youth associated with Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh. Soon, he will be seen practicing various sports at the proposed stadium at the Prime Minister of Meerut, Shri Government Inter College Ground (GIC) and Government Inter College in Hastinapur. In this regard, first Omkar Shukla, joint director of Meerut Secondary Education Council, has prepared a proposal and sent it to the government. Hopefully work on this will start soon. Youth will get better facilities
In a special conversation with Local-18, Joint Director Onkar Shukla said that during the schools, the youth can get a chance to progress in the field of sports too. For this purpose, many steps are being taken by the government. In this series, a proposal has been sent to construct stadium and mini stadium in Meerut division. Work on this proposal will start soon, after which the coach will train six major sports activities here.

Multipurpose Stadium to be built in GIC
Director Omkar Shukla said that a multipurpose stadium will be built at Meerut GIC ground, which will provide training facilities for sports like cricket, volleyball, tennis, football, martial arts and badminton. For this, a proposal of Rs 10 crore 73 lakh has been sent to the government, while a proposal of Rs 9 crore 64 lakh has been sent to build a mini stadium in Hastinapur GIC. Modern facilities will be provided for the training of these sports.

Sports activities growing in schools
Various types of activities related to sports are being provided to youth in schools related to Secondary Education Council and Basic Education Council. The impact of these activities is also being seen in the competitions organized in the National Games. When the youth of Meerut division get the facilities of the stadium here, they will be able to get training here every day and will be able to participate in national level competitions, which will give them a chance to learn and improve their skills.
