Sinha Chaudhary, who scored 670 marks in the NEET UG exam, is originally from Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. He is a student of Haryana Vidya Mandir, Kolkata. He expected a good result, but coming to the top 20 was also a big surprise for him. He was expecting the top 100 in the NEET UG exam, but when he saw the result and came to the 16th rank, it was difficult for him to believe.
Inspiration from grandmother, old attachment to biology
Rachit’s NEET’s journey started from class 11th. His deep interest in biology and his grandmother’s health challenges pushed him forward on the path of becoming a doctor. He told that mathematics was not a matter of his interest, but the desire of biology and people to help him pulled him towards medical. His parents, Shirshendu Sinha Chaudhary and Piyali, were very proud of this success of the son.
8-10 hours of study a day, but balance is also necessary
Rachit resorted to coaching, self -study and mock test for his preparation. He used to study for 8 to 10 hours daily, but he did not stop giving time to his interests. He likes making cakes, reading books and watching Netflix. He believed that this keeps the brain fresh. When the result was declared, there was an atmosphere of happiness in the house. Rachit smiled and told that my father shouted happily as soon as the result came on screen.
Next target AIIMS Delhi
Now Rachit is eyeing the country’s most prestigious medical college AIIMS Delhi. He says that the road ahead is not yet decided.
