There will be a total of 17 seats under this scheme. All these will get a chance to the students who perform the best in Olympiads. Officials of IIT Kanpur say that its objective is to give a better platform to the promising students of the country. This will increase the competitive spirit among the students and they will be involved in the big preparations from a young age. This scheme will be applicable from 2025. Students who are passing 12th this year and have done well in Olympiads can apply.
