Yamaha had a wide range of FZ motorcycles in India. If you are wondering if we are talking about FZ in multiple categories of movement up to 1000cc, no. All the FZ sold in India are currently 149cc and there seems to be a new one that will soon be launched in India, as suggested by the recent design patent. Let’s take a closer look.
New Design Yamaha Fz patented
Now, Yamaha has patented the design of a new FZ motorcycle in India with their “new” new treatment “, which is the turning point on the fuel tank. But the new design patented by Yamaha does not have the imaginative elements of fuel tanks and styling elements slightly subjected on the extensions of the tank’s afraid.
In addition, this particular design patent seems to wear the new hybrid engine. This could suggest that Yamaha could launch a cheaper variant of FZ-S-Fi Hybrid, which is currently the most expensive in the FZ range, at the price of RS 1.45 Lakh (ex-SH). This is 10,000 RS more than 2025 FZ-S-FI with the same design language.

The company could launch a new FZ-S FI-Fi variant without some imaginative features such as the TFT tools. We have already mentioned submerged style elements, but this new hybrid variant at affordable prices could also lose the painted alloy wheels. It could be called 2025 FZ Hybrid fi, without an S, and be evaluated at RS 1.4 Lakh (ex-SH).
FZ-S-FI HYBRID is the first 150 cc bike of India with hybrid technology in its engine. This 149 cc blue nucleus engine is equipped with Yamaha’s start -up generator generator together with the arrest / start system. The efficiency of the fuel is higher with the blue core technology, guaranteed by silent more and more acceleration assisted by the battery.
Yamaha’s current FZ range
Currently, the nomenclature of the range of Yamaha Fz Street motorcyclists is slightly complicated. The interval starts from FZ-FI, which is an older Ver 3.0 model, but without the suffix. However, the S version is not FZ-S FI, but it is FZ-S FI V Ver 3.0. FZ-S FI is the “newest new” model.

So we have FZ-S-FI Ver 4.0, which already has an S in its name. Therefore, the most premium version is FZ-S FI V Ver 4.0 DLX. Both of these versions are the new Ver 4.0 models, but they are not the “newest new” with turning point on the fuel tank. The “newest” new models are FZ-S and FZ-S FI hybrids, but they do not get suffixes Ver 4.5.
