Free coaching for entrance exams: The Chief Minister of Bihar Government has come to light as a golden opportunity for the youth of backward class and extremely backward classes. Under this scheme, free coaching facility is being provided at 10 identified centers of the state, which aims to prepare students for high level competition examinations. Students who cannot prepare these exams due to lack of money, they can take advantage of this facility.
Two batches of 60-60 students are run at each center, so that a total of 120 students can undergo training simultaneously. The duration of training is six months. In this scheme, 40 percent seats have been fixed for backward classes and 60 percent for the most backward classes. Besides, 33 percent separate reservation has also been ensured for girls in both classes.
3 thousand rupees will also be available every month
Under the scheme, students undergoing training are given an incentive of Rs 3000 every month on 75 percent attendance. Also, facilities like digital study centers, good library, state and center level mock tests, guidance sessions are also provided, so that students can appear in the competition examinations with complete preparation.
To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary for students to be permanent resident of Bihar state and they should be from backward classes or backward classes. The total annual earnings of the family should not be more than 3 lakhs. Also, it is necessary to follow the qualification and age limit of minimum education fixed for the related competition examination.
