NEET UG SCAM: Fake in NEET UG
NEET UG is a national level medical entrance exam. It is necessary to pass NEET UG for admission in medical colleges in the country and abroad. It is included in the world’s most difficult exams. 1- Neet UG paper leak
In this case, the question paper is obtained illegally before the NEET UG exam (NEET UG Paper Leak). People associated with the printing press, transportation or examination center may be involved in leaking the paper. The leaked paper is sold on darkness, telegram or other social media platforms.
Example: In the case of NEET-igs in 2024, allegations of paper leaks were reported in Patna (Bihar) and Godhra (Gujarat). Later, evidence of burnt papers, answer sheets and money transactions was found.
2- Imitation in NEET UG Examination
In this case, candidates get answers from outside using Bluetooth device, earpiece or other electronic gadgets. Organized gangs or coaching center mafia are involved in this, which supply answers in real-time. In some cases, the examination centers are copied due to weak monitoring.
Loss: Unqualified candidates get admission in medical college with high merit.
3. Proxy candidates also do fake
In such cases, another person (proxy) takes the exam instead of the real candidate. A fake identity is made by manipulating Aadhaar card or other identity cards. This is a fraud due to disturbances in biometric verification (eg fingerprint, photo) at examination centers.
4. Mango is a mess in examination centers
In such a case, staff or officers at some examination centers violate the rules by taking bribe. Special candidates are benefited by manipulating the seating plan inside the NEET UG Examination Center. For example, 6 candidates got 720/720 marks at Hardayal Public School in Jhajjar, Haryana, which was suspicious.
Loss: Many candidates from the same center achieve unusually high scores.
5. Grace Marx misuse
In such a case, some candidates are given grace marks due to lack of time or other reasons, but it can also be misused.
Example: In the 2024 NEET-NG controversy, 1563 candidates were given grace marks, which raised questions and were re-examined on the direction of the Supreme Court.
6. Role of organized mafia and coaching center
In many cases the coaching centers and mafia together run a network of paper leaks, copy or reply. Criminals with political relations obstruct the implementation of the law. These papers are sold on the dark, which is difficult to detect.
