New Delhi (NEET UG 2025 Hearing)Like last year, this time also NEET UG exam is under the shadow of controversies. NTA released the NEET UG Result 2025 on 14 June. Some NEET candidates of Madhya Pradesh had filed a petition not to get proper resources in the examination center. During the hearing of the NEET UG case in the MP High Court located in Indore, Judge Subodh Abhyankar surprised everyone by doing a strange work. He had ordered the closure of the court room lights in the midst of the hearing.

The NEET UG exam was held on 04 May 2025. Some candidates of Indore had filed a petition in the High Court regarding the problems caused by the storm, rain and power cuts during the same time. These candidates have demanded to conduct the NEET UG exam again. NTA lawyers do not agree with this. According to the NBT report, the court closed the light for 13 minutes to know whether to work in the dark or not. Now the next hearing of this case will be held on 30 June 2025.

NTA counsel demands to dismiss petition

Senior Advocate Tushar Mehta is representing the National Testing Agency. Advocate Tushar Mehta attended the hearing of NEET UG 2025 case through video conferencing. He told the MP High Court that the result of NEET UG exam has been good and no one has any complaint with him. Giving the example of Indore, he said that the result of the city has also been fine and a large number of students have been successful. While giving this argument, he requested the court to dismiss the petition.

Trouble working by working in darkness

Justice Subodh Abhyankar questioned during the hearing- what is the problem without light? Then he ordered the closure of the court room lights to understand the problem. They wanted to see whether work could be done in the dark or not. After this, the light of the court room was kept closed for about 13 minutes. Now the next hearing in this case will be held on 30 June 2025. The NEET UG result of about 75 candidates of Indore has been stopped till the results of the 2025 petition.
